About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Planner/Procurement Specialist to join our team in Wellington. As an integral part of our procurement function, you will play a key role in sourcing quality Crop Protection products and implementing smart commodity strategies across the Central and Northern Regions. With your analytical and financial expertise, you will support the Procurement Manager in developing a comprehensive strategy that drives business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze internal historical data and seasonal trends to inform procurement decisions
- Support the Procurement Manager in sourcing quality Crop Protection products
- Implement smart commodity strategies across the Central and Northern Regions
- Manage and manipulate data to support procurement functions
- Resolve disruptions through collaborating with suppliers, production, and sales teams using data analysis and planning software
Requirements
- Diploma in procurement, inventory control, logistics management, or a related field (or Senior Certificate with at least three years relevant experience)
- Minimum 3 – 5 years relevant experience in procurement, inventory control, and logistics
- Previous experience in the crop protection or general agricultural industry is advantageous
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with a high level of attention to detail
Qualifications
- Diploma in procurement, inventory control, logistics management, or a related field (or Senior Certificate)
