About the Role
Bible Media, a Christian Media Ministry based in Wellington, is seeking a skilled Video Journalist to join their team. With a focus on digital transformation, they require an individual with excellent communication skills and creative vision to produce engaging video content for their audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, pitch, and produce original video stories and marketing ideas
- Shoot, script, and edit video content for digital platforms
- Record podcasts
- Create marketing material to boost online sales
- Post videos and podcasts on relevant social media platforms
- Provide user support regarding camera and sound equipment
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Videography / Journalism / Media / Marketing / Communications, or other related fields)
- Previous experience in a similar role of videographer or video journalist (producing and editing of videos)
- High level computer literacy (video editing software) and digital savvy
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
- Detail orientated work style with good time management and organisational skills

- Relevant tertiary qualification as listed above
- Previous experience in a similar role or field
