About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client, a well-established professional accounting firm in the Overberg region of the Western Cape, is seeking a qualified Accountant to join their team. Our client specializes in Accounting, Tax, and Payroll services and provides an excellent opportunity for dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to gain exposure to a wide range of responsibilities within the profession.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full bookkeeping and accounting functions
- Prepare and submit tax returns
- Perform statutory work and compliance-related tasks
- Prepare annual financial statements and working papers
- Handle income tax calculations and submissions
- Resolve accounting and tax-related queries
- Carry out general administrative duties
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proactive, reliable, and able to take initiative
- Computer literate with good communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
