Job Description
- Provide technical support for automation and digital system solutions
- Assist with system design and technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of automation systems
- Assemble and wire control panels, dosing units, communication modules, and protection devices
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both remotely and on-site
- Train clients and end-users on system operation and maintenance
Skills & Experience:
- Three to five years’ experience working with electrical, electronic, or mechatronic systems
- Experience with extra-low voltage systems, variable speed drives, programmable logic controllers, and industrial control environments
- Strong understanding of computer hardware, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
- Exposure to hydraulics and flow-related systems is advantageous
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Inventor is beneficial
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
Qualifications:
- National Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering
- Qualified electrician
- Valid driver’s licence
- Valid passport and willingness to travel within South Africa and the Southern African Development Community region
