Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, brewed coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and engaging with guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
- Ensure the coffee bar area is well-organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
- Maintain consistency in the quality and presentation of drinks according to hotel standards.
- Handle customer orders, process payments, and provide accurate receipts.
- Assist in the preparation and serving of light snacks, pastries, and other complementary items.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the coffee station and surrounding areas.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.
- Keep track of inventory levels for coffee, tea, and related supplies, and assist in placing orders as needed.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Barista or in a customer-facing role within a coffee shop, café, or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, brewing techniques, and beverage presentation.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic cash handling experience and knowledge of POS systems.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean, orderly workspace.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
