In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the entire sorting process to maximise throughput and minimise downtime. Key tasks include reviewing production schedules, engineering specifications, and process flows, as well as calibrating and monitoring sizer scales and cameras to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety. You’ll also handle control breakdowns and changeovers efficiently to reduce production interruptions and collaborate with the Maintenance department on preventative maintenance plans.
 
We require a candidate with Matric, ideally with Mathematics or Engineering subjects, and a higher qualification in Industrial/Systems Engineering or similar. Previous experience in a fruit packhouse and knowledge of MAFRODA machines will be highly beneficial. Fluency in both English and Afrikaans is essential for effective communication.
