Location: Stormsvlei, Western Cape

About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Game Ranger to join our team at a private game reserve in the Stormsvlei area. The successful candidate will be responsible for wildlife conservation, guest experiences, and the daily management of the reserve.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct guided game drives and walking safaris
• Monitor wildlife movements, health, and behavior
• Ensure anti-poaching and reserve security measures are upheld
• Maintain vehicles, equipment, and ranger facilities
• Assist with habitat management and conservation projects
• Engage professionally with guests, providing educational and memorable experiences
• Record and report sightings and incidents accurately

Minimum Requirements

• FGASA Level 1 (minimum) or equivalent qualification
• Valid PDP and Code 10 driver’s license (preferred)
• Valid First Aid certificate
• Rifle competency (advantageous)
• Previous experience as a game ranger (preferred)
• Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for wildlife conservation and ecotourism
