Company and Job Description:
Join an innovative and fast-paced group within the Wholesale and Retail space that prides itself on accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement. As the Group Accountant, you’ll be central to the group’s financial operations — preparing consolidated accounts, managing intercompany reconciliations, and ensuring IFRS compliance.

You’ll work closely with subsidiary finance teams and senior management, delivering financial insights that support strategic growth and decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified CA(SA) looking to expand their experience across group reporting, forecasting, and process improvement in a dynamic, multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts and maintain the group consolidation pack.
• Coordinate and support annual audits, ensuring IFRS compliance across all entities.
• Manage VAT submissions and assist with corporate tax processes.
• Consolidate group budgets and forecasts to guide strategic initiatives.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive efficiency in reporting processes.

  Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Qualified CA(SA) or equivalent professional qualification.
• 2+ years post-articles experience (preferably in a group or commercial environment).
• Advanced Excel proficiency with a strong understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting.
• Proven group level experience
