About the Role
Network Finance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CA(SA) to join our team as Head of Accounts. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and growth of our organization. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, performing internal audits, and providing strategic financial insights that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform internal audits focused on system integrations, including Point-of-Sale platforms
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities
- Compile daily, weekly, and monthly financial and management reports
- Extract, interpret, and present data in a clear, concise, and commercially relevant manner
- Prepare detailed accounting schedules and supporting documentation
- Assist with ad hoc initiatives, including strategic and operational financial analysis
- Review management accounts, budgets, and forecasts for accuracy and insight
Requirements
- Newly qualified CA(SA) or eligible for CA(SA) registration
- Recently completed SAICA articles
- Exposure to audit, accounting, and analytical functions
- Intermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
- Experience working with Pastel or Sage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Inquisitive mindset with solid commercial awareness
- Comfortable handling large volumes of data
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Qualifications
- Completed CA(SA) studies at a recognized institution (if applicable)
