Key Responsibilities

Room Cleaning & Maintenance

• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Replace amenities and supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linens.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor promptly.

Public Area Maintenance

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness in public areas, corridors, and back-of-house spaces.
• Ensure floors, lobbies, and lounges are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times.

Health, Safety & Hygiene

• Follow all health, hygiene, and safety procedures while performing duties.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely according to instructions.

Guest Service & Experience

• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or services.
• Ensure rooms are prepared to exceed guest expectations in cleanliness and presentation.

Team Collaboration

• Work closely with other housekeeping staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist in training new housekeeping team members when required.

Inventory Control

• Monitor and report stock levels for cleaning supplies and guest amenities.
• Handle linen and equipment carefully to prevent loss or damage.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

• Basic education or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel environment is advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a housekeeping or room attendant role.
• Experience in a 4 or higher hotel is preferred.

• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Professional and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues.
