Job Summary
- Oversee and manage all hotel maintenance projects, renovations, and refurbishments.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Develop, plan, and manage hotel maintenance and refurbishment projects from conception to completion.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor timelines, budgets, and quality standards to ensure projects meet objectives.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and supervise maintenance staff and project teams.
- Allocate resources and assign tasks to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Provide guidance and training to enhance team competencies.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare project budgets and monitor expenditure.
- Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Implement measures to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
Quality & Standards
- Ensure all projects comply with hotel standards, local regulations, and safety requirements.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks throughout project phases.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety regulations.
- Maintain safe working conditions for all staff, contractors, and guests.
- Monitor compliance with environmental and building regulations.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with hotel management, operations, and engineering teams to minimize disruption to hotel services.
- Report regularly on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
- Trade qualification or degree in Engineering, Building, Project Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in managing construction, renovation, or maintenance projects in hotels or large facilities.
Preferred Skills
- Strong leadership, planning, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance management or project management, preferably in a hotel, resort, or large commercial environment.
