• Lead the strategic development and execution of the Collections function to meet business goals and drive innovation.
• Set and manage monthly targets and scorecards, ensuring accurate tracking and performance analysis.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence teams to optimize reporting and ensure AWS dashboards are rolled out effectively.
• Redesign and enhance collections strategies to support improved outcomes.
• Provide strategic insight and guidance on behavioural linguistics and credit models.
• Deploy and monitor analytic models to optimize collections performance.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver key projects.
• Mentor and support collections analysts through coaching and knowledge sharing.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education: Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Collections Strategy or a related function within financial services, with proven leadership experience.
• Skills:
  • Strong strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., AWS dashboards).
  • Ability to drive innovation and implement performance improvement strategies.
• Non-negotiable: Proven track record of strategic leadership and delivering measurable business impact.
