About the Role

Persona Staff is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape. As the first point of contact for customers and clients, you will provide exceptional service and ensure a smooth operational flow. Your primary responsibilities include managing front-desk enquiries, operating the ERP and POS systems, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers, manage front-desk enquiries, and ensure a professional first point of contact
  • Operate the ERP and POS systems to process transactions accurately
  • Receive and manage cash/card payments, issue receipts, and follow strict cash-handling protocols
  • Balance cash at the start and end of day, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain secure financial records
  • Manage incoming calls, direct queries, and provide general customer assistance
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and presentable reception area
  • Conduct weekly stationery stock checks, place orders, and maintain supply levels
  • Provide general administrative support and assist with ad-hoc tasks as required by management

Requirements

  • Matric (essential)
  • Previous experience as a Receptionist, Cashier, or in a similar frontline role
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP/point-of-sale systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment

About the Role

We are seeking a warm and welcoming Receptionist to join our team at Persona Staff in Cape Town, Western Cape. As the first face of our office, you will be responsible for creating a positive impression and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage the day-to-day operations of the reception desk
