Job Summary
- Manage the full financial accounting function
- Conduct detailed financial analyses to support business decisions
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports on assets, liabilities, P&L, and tax obligations
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial legislation, tax, and auditing standards
- Oversee VAT returns and regulatory submissions
- Contribute to operational finance processes and strategic improvements
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- A BCom Degree in Finance (Honours in Financial Accounting advantageous)
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and tax regulations
- Proficiency in Xero Accounting Software (SimplePay experience is a bonus)
- Advanced Excel skills and general computer literacy
- Solid time management, attention to detail, and a hands-on, proactive attitude
