Job Summary
What you’ll be doing:
- Craft and Create Masterpieces: You’ll be tasked with preparing clean, scalable code, using your Python-Django skills to whip up a framework that’s not only delicious but also enduring.
- Design APIs that Connect: You’ll season your creations with RESTful APIs, ensuring the kitchen communicates smoothly with all its digital devices, from front-end users to external services.
- Bridge the Front and Back: Occasionally, you’ll sprinkle in your front-end knowledge, ensuring that the user’s experience is as delightful as the backend that powers it.
- Shape the Data Foundation: Your knowledge of databases will be put to good use, ensuring that every bite of data is structured, secure, and easily accessible, whether it’s PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Spice it Up with the Cloud: Using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, you’ll bring the scalability and resilience needed for a world-class dish, ready to serve to a global audience.
- Mentor Your Team: With a leadership mindset, you’ll coach and guide junior developers, teaching them how to perfect the recipe, and working closely with other teams to ensure each course flows smoothly.
- Solve Complex Puzzles: And, when the kitchen faces unexpected challenges, you’ll rise to the occasion, using your critical thinking and problem-solving skills to find elegant solutions that keep the momentum going.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of Python mastery mixed with the perfect seasoning of Django.
- A hearty portion of REST API expertise to ensure all flavours blend smoothly.
- A dash of front-end familiarity – perhaps some React or Vue.js for extra flair.
- A cup of database knowledge (whether PostgreSQL or MySQL, both will do), so the application’s data flows like a fine sauce.
- A pinch of AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes – these modern spices add complexity and scalability to your dish.
- A sprinkling of problem-solving ingenuity and a side of critical thinking to keep things sharp.
- And finally, a dash of leadership, to guide your fellow chefs and apprentice developers toward excellence.
