About the Role
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Python Developer who wants to work on meaningful, intellectually challenging projects within a collaborative engineering environment. You will contribute to the design and development of sophisticated physiological and exercise-focused algorithms, incorporating genetic and performance data to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimise high-quality physiological algorithms using Python, with a focus on exercise physiology and genetic data processing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into broader systems and applications
- Build and maintain data pipelines for collecting, processing, and analysing large-scale physiological and genetic datasets
- Troubleshoot and improve algorithm performance, data quality, and system integrations
Requirements
- Education: Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in Python development, with a strong focus on algorithm development and data analysis
- Proven exposure to large datasets and complex data processing environments
- Experience within exercise physiology, health data, or bio-data domains is highly advantageous
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
