About the Role
Career Connect (Pty) Ltd, a well-established firm in Kenilworth, is seeking an experienced Tax Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client tax matters efficiently and accurately, with a strong focus on compliance and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit provisional and final tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts on SARS e-Filing.
- Review financial documents (e.g., income statements, balance sheets) to ensure accurate tax filings and valid deduction claims.
- Compile biannual provisional income tax returns, ensuring deadlines are strictly met.
- Manage SARS registrations, respond to queries, and ensure full tax compliance.
- Handle telephonic and written correspondence with SARS and clients regarding tax matters.
Requirements
- Grade 12 and relevant accounting qualification
- Higher Certificate in Tax Administration or similar tax-related qualification
- 23 years of experience in a tax/admin role
- Strong understanding of SA tax legislation and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in SARS e-Filing and related systems
Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Relevant accounting qualification (e.g., BCom Accounting, ACCA)
