Western Cape: Test Analyst posted by Communicate Finance

Analyse business and technical requirements to create effective test plans and test cases
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
Execute manual and (where applicable) automated tests
Identify, log, track, and verify defects using established tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams during Agile ceremonies
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices, processes, and documentation
Support release management activities and produce clear test reporting
 
Skills and Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering
ISTQB Foundation Level certification (or equivalent recognised testing qualification)
Proven experience in a software testing or QA role
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, concepts, and best practices
Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps)
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI
