About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Safety & Compliance Officer to join our team at Total Serve Fcailitis Management. As a critical member of our Health and Safety team, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations. Your primary focus will be on identifying and mitigating health and safety risks, conducting regular risk assessments, and implementing corrective actions to prevent accidents and injuries.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and audits to ensure machinery and equipment are safe and meet current legal standards.
• Monitor compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Investigate potential compliance violations and recommend corrective actions.
• Report compliance issues to senior management.
• Coordinate emergency procedures, firefighting, and first aid.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive compliance program.
• Identify and assess compliance risks across all areas of the organization.
• Conduct regular training sessions for management, supervisors, and workers on health and safety practices and legislations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Health and Safety or a related field.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
