Job Summary

Monkey Thorn Lodge & Wellness Spa, White River is looking fora chef to join the team when we re-open in September after our refurbishment.Chef.We currently have one chef and are looking for a second one to work together with our current chef in the running of the kitchen. We offer fine dining cuisine and the skills of the applicant need to reflect this. So you will need to be competent in pastry making, bread making, desserts, sauces and high end meat and fish preparation. Shifts vary between 6.30am and 9.30pm. Three years experience in a luxury food kitchen is required. You must be a non-smoker and of good sober habits. A clean code 8 driving license is an advantage. Two reference from previous employers that are contactable. A practical interview will be requested should you be selected after the initial interview process. The position is live out but there is a facility to sleep over on occasions.
