Job Summary

This role supports the Head of Actuarial function, managing projects in product management and model governance. The candidate will work with product, actuarial, and financial teams, preparing reports for senior management and Board sub-committees. Responsibilities & Skills Required: Assist the Head of Actuarial with preparing reports for management and Board committees, including statutory reports. Oversee product development, pricing, and product management across the company. Manage model governance processes. Lead ad hoc projects related to product management, valuation, solvency, and financial reporting. Review and report on various aspects of the actuarial function. Experience with long-term insurance products and financial reporting (IFRS, EV, and SAM). Strong communication, relationship-building, and project management skills. Detail-oriented, technically excellent, and able to manage stress and deadlines. Independent, proactive, and focused on adding value and driving development. Qualifications and Skills: Registered with a recognised professional body of the actuarial profession. Qualified Actuary: Fellow or Associate (FASSA, AMASSA, or equivalent). Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience with relevant exposure to financial reporting.
