Leading Destination Management Company is looking for a Team Leader to support the management of a team of Destination Specialists. Lead the team to operationalize agent requests seamlessly and continuously improve service standards. Successfully quote and operationalize profitable tour products for existing and new clients. This position is based in Windhoek, Namibia.Experience:MatricRelevant tertiary qualifications (advantageous)Min of 5 years of Leadership experience in Destination Management CompanyTour-plan experienceLeadership experienceDuties include:Effectively cost productsUtilise expertise to improve in conjunction with GM the teams operational excellencePass on Tour-plan knowledge to the team via training/coaching sessionsUnderstand the market and margin controlQuote and design successful, creative itineraries and proposalsCapture and confirm bookings in Tour-planNegotiate with suppliersContinuously and proactively monitor client feedback and improve operational processesFollow up on own quotes as well as assist in monitoring the teams quote overviewEnsure the team is up to date with regards to new product, product development, news and changes relevant to the groups teamSupport groups and procurement in a seamless process from negotiating to loading rates in Tour-planTo apply please send CV to Executive Placings
