Requirements:
- Be in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in PET production environment
- Minimum of 5 years in a Two-Stage Stretch-rod Blow-moulding environment
- Self-adhesive label experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Have a strong ability to communicate with all levels and across departments
- Strong leadership ability
- Highly motivated and ability to motivate others
- Strong technical/mechanical knowledge
- Shift work essential
- Self disciplined, enthusiastic, and a strong team player
- Be reliable (proven track record)
- Passionate about excellent service
- An understanding of quality and a passion for it
- Good communication skills
- Computer literacy advantageous
- Sound knowledge of our products
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in achieving production efficiencies of + 80%
- Assisting in ensuring that raw material wastage levels are maintained
- Setting of machines according to the best practices
- Conducting mould, label changes and material trials as required
- Assisting with machine and mould maintenance requirements
- Ensuring that top quality products are produced according to the prescribed specifications
- Ensuring that machinery, moulds and change parts are effectively maintained, serviced and stored
- Ensure that all company procedures are always adhered to
- Continuously improving on departmental processes and outputs
- Practicing a high standard of Housekeeping and Safety
- Any other duties reasonably requested by Manager
- Attend to breakdowns/ callouts as needed/mould changing
