Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete financial administration for clients based in the Netherlands.
- Ensure financial records are prepared and compilation-ready.
- Collaborate with the account manager to prepare financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements, utilizing the necessary tools.
- Communicate directly with colleagues in the Netherlands regarding client accounting matters.
- Process client data efficiently and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.
Required Experience and Skills:
- University degree with minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in an accounting firm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of IFRS for SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Entities).
- Eagerness to understand Dutch accounting rules (similar to IFRS).
- Affinity for automation in accounting processes.
- Proficiency in Afrikaans is preferred.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new systems.
- Full-time, in-office availability.
