Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Crane Operator
- Steel industry experience (at least 5 years)
- Valid crane license (10 Ton +) – essential
- Matric certificate – essential
- Willingness to work overtime and shifts
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong understanding of safety procedures in a steel environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient operation of overhead cranes (10 Ton + capacity)
- Material handling within the steel manufacturing facility
- Pre-operational checks on crane equipment
- Adherence to all safety regulations and company policies
- Accurate loading, unloading, and movement of materials
- Maintaining accurate records of materials handled
- Collaboration with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Reporting equipment malfunctions and safety hazards
