Responsibilities:
Effectively manage relationships with the business and provide professional leadership, influence and two-way communication Develop and implement engineering best practices, policies, standards and safe work procedures Effective implement the maintenance management strategy as cascaded by Group to optimize plant and equipment performance Assume the responsibility of the Hospital GMR2.1 Investigate industry technology, evaluate benefits, conduct business case appraisal and motivate funding Drive engineering projects delivery at hospital level Project performance tracking
Requirements:
Bachelor`s degree in mechanical/ or Electrical (Heavy Current) Engineering with a minimum of 2 years in operations or engineering maintenance and projects or, National Diploma in either of the above listed qualification with a minimum of 5 years in the operation or engineering maintenance and projects or Certified engineer with GCC (factories) and a minimum of 5 years practical experience in the operation or engineering maintenance and projects Practical experience in the hospital environment or similar environment is essential Proven leadership and people management experience Knowledge of contracts negotiation and management, OHS Act regulation, facilities management, financial, project management and engineering procurement practices Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage Computer proficiency Driver`s license and ability to travel Competencies: Problem-solving, analysis and judgement Resilience Engaging diversity Verbal & written communication and presentation Influencing Drive & energy Excellence orientation Ethical behavior Building relationships Customer responsiveness Organizational awareness Leading my example Motivating and developing people
