The Role

As the Head of Furniture and Accommodation Inventory, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of furniture and accommodation inventory across Soul Paje and Fumba Town properties. This role is pivotal in ensuring units align with Valor Hospitality Partners` brand standards and are ready for rental or residential use. You will collaborate with property managers, homeowners, and suppliers to deliver exceptional furnishing solutions.

What’s in a Day’s Work?

Owner Communication & Engagement

• Serve as the primary liaison for unit owners regarding furnishing requirements and rental pool inclusion criteria.
• Guide owners on furnishing standards and assist in selecting and purchasing appropriate items.
• Provide regular updates to owners on progress, costs, and timelines.

Project Coordination

• Manage end-to-end furnishing processes from planning to inspection.
• Collaborate with property managers, vendors, and contractors to execute furnishing projects efficiently.
• Maintain project timelines and ensure units comply with operational and Valor brand standards.

Vendor and Supplier Management

• Source and maintain relationships with local and international suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and manage budgets to ensure timely delivery and installation of furnishings.
• Supervise quality assurance for all furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).

Inventory Oversight

• Organize and maintain an inventory system to track furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishments to meet operational demands.
• Implement efficient processes to maximize asset lifecycles.

Quality Assurance

• Inspect furnished units to ensure they meet brand and operational standards.
• Address quality or functionality issues promptly.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain comprehensive records of projects, budgets, and contracts.
• Report project milestones and challenges to senior management and stakeholders.
• Verify invoices and ensure adherence to budgets.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Interior Design, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years in project management, interior furnishings, or property management within the hospitality or real estate sector.
• Multi-site operational experience is an advantage.

Skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Expertise in vendor coordination, inventory control, and budget management.
• Familiarity with FF&E standards in hospitality or residential rental properties.
• Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
