Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Monitor and assess critically ill patients, providing necessary interventions and treatments Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans Stay up-to-date with advancements in critical care nursing Deliver quality nursing care in collaboration with a multi-professional team Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions Create a learning environment that builds staff competence Ensure that all utilized stock and equipment are accurately charged Ensure accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
Diploma in General Nursing / B Cur Degree or equivalent NQF 7 qualification. At least 2 years experience in ICU Registration with the South African Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse. 2 years of experience in a private hospital setting Flexible in working hours/Shifts
