Job Summary
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION: You will have completed a Mechanical Engineering qualification, coupled with a minimum of 10 years experience in asset project management, overseeing company assets such as production machinery/equipment upgrades or new installations, as well as failure investigations, problem solving, risk management, inventory/supplier management and oversight of regional factory operations. You will have a strong background in mentoring a diverse team of artisans and production staff, based at multiple plants, to ensure production costs are kept at a reasonable level, ensure effective maintenance schedules and drive improvements and modifications to equipment and production machinery, as well as production targets met, with the highest quality and safety standards. You will have a solid track record in terms of people management and development, providing technical support to the maintenance and production teams and ensure factory KPIs are met. Sound working experience in high level risk HSE, Quality (ISO 9001 and 14001), budget compilation/management (reporting and management of expenses, variances, losses, etc) and departmental and international reporting is essential You must have a valid drivers licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record Please note that should you not be currently resident in the region and area advertised but still wish to apply, the cost of travel for interviews and relocation will be for your expense.
