About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Cape Town City Centre, responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage existing client accounts and identify new business opportunities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve target revenue goals
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Marketing, Commerce)
  • At least 5 years of account management experience/exposure (through projects or responsibilities) if degree/diploma qualification requirement is not met
  • 3 years of experience in B2B software or advertising sales (account management)
  • Digital Marketing, Advertising and Sales experience (must have)
  • E-Commerce experience is advantageous but not required

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with existing club, retail, and commercial accounts
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries and ongoing support

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Prospect, engage, and onboard new clubs, retailers, and strategic partners

  • Produce weekly account and pipeline reports
  • Deliver product training and support product demonstrations when required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing customer accounts, driving sales growth, or developing new business opportunities

  • Commercially driven with strong negotiation skills
  • Highly organised with excellent time management capabilities
