Job Summary

Strategic Compliance Leadership Develop and implement compliance and risk strategies aligned with business objectives and regulatory standards Lead compliance across global operations, ensuring consistent adherence across jurisdictions Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies, fostering proactive and transparent engagement Regulatory Expansion & Licensing Drive regulatory readiness for new market entry, overseeing all licensing processes Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure legal compliance of all new products and services Risk Frameworks & Governance Establish robust risk management systems, including controls and mitigation plans Implement early-warning reporting structures to inform strategic decision-making Operational Compliance Management Guide teams through regulatory changes, embedding compliance into daily operations Lead internal audits, policy updates, and staff training to reinforce compliance culture Reporting, Representation & Stakeholder Engagement Ensure timely and accurate submission of all regulatory reports and filings Represent the company in audits, industry forums, and regulatory consultations Team Leadership & Culture Development Build and mentor a high-performing compliance team with a focus on agility and accountability Champion a culture of compliance through clear communication, ownership, and integrity Skills & Experience: 510 years of senior-level experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs Demonstrated success in financial services sectors such as fintech, banking, or payments Hands-on experience engaging with financial regulators and supervisory authorities In-depth understanding of key regulatory areas, including AML, KYC, POPIA/GDPR, consumer protection, and payment systems Proven ability to lead and manage regulatory license applications across local and international jurisdictions Solid grasp of enterprise risk management and governance frameworks, such as ISO 31000 and COSO Qualification: A tertiary qualification in Law, Finance, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related field A relevant professional certification and/or a postgraduate degree is highly advantageous Contact Refiloe Mofokeng on

Job Summary

As the Head of Compliance, your duties include the following Design, implement, and continuously evolve the companys global compliance and risk management frameworks Lead and oversee compliance operations across all jurisdictions, ensuring full alignment with relevant financial and regulatory requirements Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and compliance authorities, managing communications and regulatory relationships Ensure the business remains fully compliant with AML, KYC, data protection, consumer rights and payments regulations across all markets Lead the compliance strategy for market expansion and regulatory licensing initiatives, ensuring seamless entry into new jurisdictions Build and manage comprehensive risk management frameworks to proactively identify, evaluate and mitigate key business risks Oversee internal compliance monitoring and reporting systems to support timely risk identification and escalation Continuously adapt and enhance compliance structures to stay ahead of regulatory developments in fintech, payments, and banking Ensure timely and accurate regulatory reporting, maintaining full compliance with international standards and jurisdictional requirements Act as the lead representative in audits, regulatory reviews, and key industry engagements Cultivate strong proactive relationships with regulators, auditors, and industry bodies to stay ahead of emerging regulatory trends and expectations Lead, mentor, and develop the compliance team Champion a company-wide culture of compliance, integrity, and accountability at every level of the organization Skills & Experience: 10 years of experience in compliance, preferably within the financial services sector Proven experience in regulatory risk, AML/KYC, and licensing processes Excellent communication skills Qualification: Bachelors degree in law, Finance, or Compliance Professional certifications Contact JENELLE COOKSON on
