Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:
- Professional Nurse qualification with Midwifery
- Postgraduate Diploma in Health Services Management or an Accredited Management Qualification
- Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing when managing a specialist hospital (e.g. Mental Healthcare)
- 5 years’ Professional Nurse Experience in a hospital
- 2 years’ Nursing Management Experience

- Healthcare industry
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

- Nursing functional knowledge

- Human resource processes including employee relations
- Patient complaint management
Duties and responsibilities:
The Nursing Manager leads and directs the nursing service in the hospital, including patient safety and patient experience and the management of human and other resources.
- Compile, implement and monitor the hospital-specific nursing strategy
- Drive and support a culture of quality nursing care and patient safety
- Manage resources to ensure optimal operational efficiency
- Manage the patient experience
- Lead and manage people in the nursing department
- Manage key stakeholder relations
