Job Title: SAICA Article Clerk
Location: Stellenbosch, Cape Town
Salary: Negotiable

Hire Resolves client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented SAICA Article Clerk to join their dynamic accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who want to complete their SAICA-accredited training contract and gain comprehensive experience in auditing, accounting, and financial management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the performance of audits and the preparation of audit files in line with firm standards.
- Prepare working papers, financial statements, and management reports.
- Perform tax calculations and submissions (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax).
- Assist with monthly bookkeeping and management accounts.
- Liaise with clients to obtain necessary documentation and clarify financial information.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legislation.
- Stay up to date with developments in IFRS and tax laws.
- Attend internal and external training sessions as part of the SAICA training programme.
Requirements:
- Completed or in the process of completing a BCom Accounting degree or equivalent (SAICA-accredited).
- Intention to study toward or currently studying for a CTA / Honours in Accounting.
- Strong academic track record.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
