Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Print Estimator to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately calculating project costs, preparing client quotations, and managing sales orders from inception through to completion. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the printing industry, proficiency with estimating software, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with the team.Key Responsibilities: Estimating & Quoting: oAccurately interpret client requests and specifications to prepare timely and competitive cost estimates for a diverse range of print jobs. oUtilize estimating software (e.g., Dolphin, EFI Quick Easy, or similar) to generate precise quotes. oAdvise clients on cost-effective solutions and alternative production methods where appropriate. Sales Order Management: oCreate, process, and meticulously monitor sales orders throughout the entire production lifecycle. oProactively track order progress, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld. oManage all administrative tasks associated with sales orders, including documentation, filing, and record-keeping. Client Communication & Support: oServe as a key point of contact for clients, providing updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. oFollow up with clients post-completion to ensure satisfaction and identify future opportunities. Operational Support: oAssist with dispatch coordination, counter sales, and other sales-related activities as needed. oCollaborate closely with production, sales, and other internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment.Required Experience & Skills: Proven experience as a Print Estimator within the printing industry. Essential proficiency with print estimating software (e.g., Dolphin, EFI Quick Easy, or similar). Comprehensive knowledge of various printing processes, materials, finishing techniques, and industry best practices. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and client-focused demeanor. Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
