Ammonia Refrigeration Technician

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of ammonia cooling systems.
Assist senior technicians and engineers in diagnosing and resolving refrigeration system issues.
Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly related to ammonia handling.
Maintain detailed records of system performance, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Support installations and upgrades of ammonia-based refrigeration systems.
Collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime and enhance system efficiency.

Requirements:

·         B. Tech qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.

·         3 years of Ammonia Refrigeration Technician experience

Practical experience in ammonia cooling systems, preferably in industrial refrigeration or HVAC settings.
Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration principles, regulations, and safety protocols.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including emergency call-outs if required.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
