Job Summary

This will be a dual role with 50% focus on taking full ownership of an allocated customer portfolio, engaging with key stakeholders, and overseeing the management and growth of accounts and 50% focus, strategically marketing the company’s services to secure specific new business opportunities aligned with the companys organizational strategy. Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent Drivers license with own reliable transport Tertiary qualification in sales or marketing would be an advantage Experience in the logistics industry is beneficial Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) Knowledge of business principles (i.e. financial, operational, customer experience) At least 3-5 years experience in sales or customer facing/engagement and proven track record within a sales/target driven environment Key Performance Areas: Dual Sales and Account Management role, ensure monthly and annual targets are achieved Ensure account queries are resolved, and accounts are settled within trading terms Identify new distribution opportunities and as a result increase revenue Complete and submit weekly sales report before deadline (CRM & Share Drive) Identify opportunity and increase existing client spend GROW, RETAIN & PROTECT Implementation: New customer into business Training of clients: Product, services, website (ease of doing business) & business apps Develop strategic relationships with key role players/ influential stakeholders Offer, sell and implement value added services designed by the business Increase revenue base in line with target/budget (either by new business or extended business within existing base) Negotiate and secure annual rate increases in line with business strategies Analyse and present monthly KPI reports to clients with recommendations Down Trade and Zero Trade clients to be identified monthly formulate action plan Offer, sell and implement value added services designed by the business Identify and secure sales opportunities with new business accounts Negotiate gross profits in line with company objective Conduct needs analysis and propose customized client solution and rate negotiation In return this opportunity will offer a competitive Cost to Company Remuneration package Commission, Allowances and Business Tools.
