Job Summary
- Grade 12
- Quality or Analytic Chemistry Diploma or Degree
- Total Quality Management or QMS qualification preferred
- Experience of QMS via ISO or PICS guidelines
- More than 3 years of experience in quality assurance in a lab setting
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with all QA Departmental functions as listed, but limited to:
- Internal and External Audit Administration Management
- SOP administration for Quality and other departments
- Document Control
- Change Controls
- Laboratory Non-conformances, e.g. Out of Spec (OOS)
- Deviations
- CAPAs
- Trend Management
- Assist with approval process of suppliers/service providers
- Administration
- Ensure Purchase orders and delivery notes are obtained
- Assists with invoice preparation
- Assist with recons on loads
- Assist with reporting
- Compliance Checks
- QA Review and QMR Meeting preparation and compiling Minutes
- Risk Assessments
- Monthly logging of training done
- Monthly updating of the status of CAPA’s, OOS’s, Deviations and Incidents as well as client complaints
- General maintenance of the QMS through GMP, GDocP and GLP
- Training, amending and producing SOP’s
- Keeping Training matrixes up to date
- Revising new documents and correctly archive old files
- Maintenance and control of the SOP digital and hard copy file
- Ensure data integrity:
- Correctly naming reports and documents
- Prepare reports for scanning to the cloud
- Maintain hard copy archive
- Maintain the cloud storage and digital documents
