Job Summary
A leading vehicle rental and mobility solutions provider is seeking an Ecommerce Developer to support the development and maintenance of web-based eCommerce platforms. This permanent role plays a key part in ensuring seamless digital experiences for customers and efficient systems for the business. Expect a hands-on environment where your code has real impact.

Duties:
- Develop new eCommerce applications and maintain existing systems.
- Design and build efficient, reusable, and reliable code across the stack.
- Develop APIs and integrate with third-party and internal systems.
- Build middleware components and ensure seamless data flow.
- Create dashboards and custom reports based on business needs.
- Write unit tests and ensure code adheres to quality frameworks.
- Support and enhance existing eCommerce integration applications.
- Participate actively in agile team ceremonies and sprints.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on web development.
- 3+ years of general application development experience.
Skills & Competencies:
Core Technical Skills:
- Proficient in both front-end and back-end development.
- Strong in C#, ASP.NET MVC 4+ (.Net Core is a plus).
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, SASS, JavaScript.
- Angular 2+ (AngularJS also advantageous).
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP Web Services, JSON, and XML.
- SQL Server: solid understanding of T-SQL, stored procedures, views, etc.
- Git and Azure DevOps.
- SDLC methodologies.
Additional/Advantageous Technologies:
- WCF Services.
- SSIS Packages, SQL Feeds.
- Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Docker, Kubernetes.
- Distributed/agile team experience (Scrum/Kanban).
- UI/UX understanding.
