Job Summary
- Must have a Bachelors’ Degree or Diploma in Agriculture
- Minimum 5-10 years’ commercial and sales experience in the agriculture industry within the specified region
- Ability to manage and develop a team of representatives
- Good administration skills and financial acumen is essential
- Excellent knowledge of the market and market development
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing a commercial strategy aligned with business goals.
- Identifying market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Leading the sales team to achieve or exceed sales targets, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
- Maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners to foster long-term business growth.
- Overseeing the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a customer-centric approach.
- Establishing strategies to expand distribution networks, managing targets and discounts for distributors.
- Collaborating with the Technical Manager to align product offerings with market demands.
- Developing and managing the commercial budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Representing the company at industry events to enhance reputation and visibility.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in all commercial activities.
