Job Summary

Multi-National company Based in Airport Industrial Cape Town is looking for a entry level Debtors Clerk to join their young energetic and growing team. Career growth opportunities Responsibilities: Debt Collection of all Outstanding Debtors Reconciling Debtors Account on Pastel Evolution Daily Reconciliation of various Debtors and Pre-payment Accounts, Monthly Reconciliation of Sales Accounts Dealing with Debtors queries, Attending to correspondence/ telephonic enquiries – incoming/ outgoing calls Daily Invoicing – Proforma invoices and Tax invoices Daily Reversal Journals – Cash Customer vs Sales , VAT Daily submission of Turnover figures to FM. Weekly Sales journal transfer of Pilot/PPIMS. E-mailing and printing of invoices (daily) and statements (monthly) to customers Capturing Bank Statements into Pastel Evolution via Bank Manager Capturing Receipts and allocating to the correct client and matching payment to remittance advise Ad-hoc Switchboard Duties General Administration, Filing, etc Meeting deadlines on all tasks General office Duties as required / Provide clerical support Ensure transactions are accurately processed Minimum Requirements ITC Clear and No Criminal Record Matric (Accounts will be advantageous) Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure . Worked with Pastel Accounting Partner and or Evolution Has knowledge of Bank Reconciliations and Debtors G/L accounts (up to Trial balance) Debtors Reconciliations Debt collection VAT Journal entries (Dr and Cr) Internet Banking (FNB And Nedbank) Able to communicate well and effectively in English – Verbally and Written Able to Liaise with clients Able to Liaise management Microsoft Packages Excel, Word and Outlook Able to work in a Team environment Reporting to: The Operational accountant Incentive Scheme Every Employees performance is measured and will form part of a performance based incentive programme of which 100% of all targets are required to be reached for the incentive to be paid out incentives are not part paid and are subject to management discretion. Working Hours Working hours are Monday to Friday: 08:30 to 16h30 with 30minutes for lunch (We do not work weekends or public holidays unless required to) Overtime may be required to be worked from time to time in order to meet deadlines. Other Information: Nett Salaries are paid in arrears on the 26th of each month. The amount offered is a Cost To Company amount, therefore any inclusion into the company medical aid or pension funds will be deducted from the cost to company amount Should the employee drive, no company parking is offered and the employee will be required to make their own arrangements in this regard. The cost of the same will be for the employees account.

Job Summary

Process customer purchase orders and generate accurate sales invoices and credit notes Investigate and resolve customer claims and billing disputes, issuing adjustments as needed Respond promptly to customer account queries and maintain open communication on outstanding balances Prepare monthly statements and assist with collections and account reconciliations Support new credit account applications by verifying documentation and liaising with credit controllers Coordinate with sales and logistics to ensure timely order fulfilment and smooth order-to-cash processes Skills & Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in a debtor clerk or accounts receivable role, preferably within the FMCG sector Proficient in accounting software such as Sage, SAP, Pastel, or Xero Strong MS Excel skills with excellent attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure Qualification: Matric (Grade 12) required, diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business advantageous. Job Summary

Our client, a fast-growing and innovative retail business operating across wholesale, online, and e-commerce platforms, is looking for a highly capable individual to join their finance team. This role is based in City Bowl, Cape Town. Key Responsibilities Debtors Book Management Take full responsibility for managing the end-to-end debtors book across all business channels. Monitor aging reports and flag overdue accounts to the Finance Manager. Ensure timely follow-up and collection of outstanding balances. Reconciliations & Allocations Perform thorough reconciliations of customer accounts. Accurately allocate payments across multiple bank platforms. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or queries related to payments or balances. Credit Notes & Returns Process credit notes for online and e-commerce customers. Ensure all returns are validated and accurately reflected in the accounts. Maintain integrity in all credit-related processes. Customer Relationships Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers. Address payment delays professionally and negotiate positive outcomes. Provide prompt and effective resolution to client queries. Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with the Finance Manager and finance team to ensure alignment on priorities. Generate regular reports on debtor performance and risk areas. Support audits and ensure accurate record-keeping for all debtors. Compliance & Process Improvement Ensure all debtor processes comply with internal policies and external regulations. Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy. Requirements: Diploma or Higher Certificate in Finance, Accounting, or Business. 5 years of experience in a debtors/accounts receivable role, ideally within a retail or e-commerce environment. Experience working across wholesale and B2C channels. Strong reconciliation and multi-currency transaction experience. Proficient in ERP systems Odoo ERP experience highly advantageous . Proven ability to manage customer accounts and resolve disputes.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities: Pass credit notes daily after checking the validity of the claim (a conscientious attitude with a high attention to detail is required). Ensure that the debtors are accurately updated with credit applications, trade agreements, payment terms, discount, rebate percentages, etc. Statements to be sent out timeously according to company deadlines. Ensure that customers pay timeously and adhere to their credit limit. Disallow discounts if clients do not pay on time. Cash receipts must be processed daily. Send PODs and invoices at the customers request. Respond to all emails and telephone queries daily ensuring queries are investigated, followed up on and resolved timeously. Reconcile debtor balances. Follow up on outstanding debtors payments. Sales managers must be advised if their clients credit facilities are suspended. Ensuring that the monthly remittances are received timeously from the customers. Discuss all debtors on your book with FM on a weekly basis. Report to the FM and bring all debtors of concern and payment defaults the FMs attention. Obtain approval from FM before suspending a clients accounts or making payment arrangements. Any changes to rebates must be confirmed in writing by the sales managers and amended on the commercial schedule. Learn to be back-up for the other credit controller. Ad hoc functions and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time. Requirements: Must live in the southern suburbs of Cape Town. Previous experience working with stock. Dealing with retail hardware chain stores highly advantageous. Computer literacy: Excel (pivot tables & Vlookups), MS Word, Outlook and Acumatica (accounting software) experience is advantageous. Attention to detail is VITAL. Time management and meeting deadlines. Must be positive and have a can-do attitude with problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure and remain positive. Good Communication skills.
