About the Role
We are seeking a detail-driven Tax Administrator to join our well-established team in Cape Town City Centre. As a key member of our Tax & Accounting department, you will be responsible for managing SARS processes, supporting a high-performing team, and ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the full administration function within the tax department
- Managing SARS-related processes including registrations, deregistrations, and updates
- Working extensively on SARS eFiling and the SARS portal
- Preparing and collating documentation for submissions and compliance requirements
- Handling SARS and general tax-related queries
- Liaising with SARS consultants, internal teams, and clients
- Assisting with Department of Labour (DOL) processes when required
- Supporting ad hoc tax and administrative tasks
- Working towards monthly targets and maintaining high-quality standards
Requirements
- 2-3 years’ experience in a tax or accounting environment
- Solid working knowledge of SARS procedures and eFiling (non-negotiable)
- Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail
- Confident communicator – both written and verbal
- Able to manage deadlines and juggle multiple priorities
- Highly organised with strong time management
