Job Summary
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Field Manager to join a vegetable producer and supplier in Gauteng. As a Retail Sales Field Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of retail sales representatives, driving sales targets, and ensuring excellent customer service. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and has a passion for leading and developing sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with different departments to assess customer opportunities
- Support market initiatives and develop local programs
- Ensure timely input to the commercial planning process
- Achieve yearly volume, net revenue, and gross profit targets
- Increase market share and monitor performance
- Establish contracts and manage customer P&L
- Execute seasonal strategies and promotions
- Improve product distribution and availability
- Manage equipment placement and price execution
- Maintain effective communication and account relations
- Ensure complaints are followed up internally and maintain customer data
- Manage and maintain relationships for retail customers at store level
- Promote NG sales to new customers
- Manage shelf health
- Relevant sales diploma or degree
- 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make strategic decisions
- Result-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of the retail industry and familiarity with Gauteng market
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Valid driver’s license
