Job Description
To manage and maintain inventory, support management with stock takes, and assist with the implementation of new systems.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric certificate.
- Previous experience in a hotel, retail, or similar environment.
- Hardworking, dedicated, and motivated.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and a positive team player.
- Willingness to work shifts.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Own transport preferable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory by replenishing items, overseeing purchases, audits, and internal stock transfers.
- Maintain purchase and pricing reports and ensure stock levels are up-to-date.
- Compile, sort, and prepare source documents according to provided instructions.
- Verify the accuracy of data before entering it into the system and correct any visible errors.
- Enter information into designated databases or systems accurately and double-check entries.
- Process data updates and deletions according to specific instructions.
- Transcribe and organize data from source documents into electronic formats.
- Review completed work for accuracy and make necessary edits.
- Identify, label, and organize electronic storage media while maintaining security and confidentiality.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and data entry.
- Reliability and integrity in handling sensitive information.
