A leading organisation in the logistics sector, is currently seeking a Senior Developer (Products Team) based in Gqeberha. This role is integral to the IT Product team, where collaboration with both internal teams and clients drives the design, development, testing, implementation, and support of current and future solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions.

• Provide proactive internal and external (client) support.

• Write and deliver high-quality, high-performing code.

• Develop and maintain robust unit tests.

• Drive development, maintenance, and roll-out of software tools, processes, and procedures.

• Conduct research and development, testing, and evaluation of new technologies.

• Identify areas for continuous improvement.

• Mentor and train the development team; facilitate knowledge-sharing through peer and code reviews.

• Collaborate closely with developers from other teams to implement best-fit solutions.

• Demonstrate a high level of expertise and flexibility across all aspects of development.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

• Self-management capability; ability to independently drive a project from conception to user satisfaction.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in English (other languages considered a plus).

• Hands-on experience in:

  • C#

  • .NET

  • Blazor

  • MS SQL Server

  • WCF and REST Web Services
    Beneficial experience in:

  • Entity Framework

  • Azure DevOps

  • Test-Driven Design

  • Software Architectural Design Patterns
