The Junior Electronic Hardware Design Engineer will specialize in the design, development, and testing of power supplies for LRUs for a leading Defence/Aerospace company. This role requires a strong technical background and experience in electronic circuit simulation and design as well as the ability to lead the LRU development process from preliminary design through to production.

Key responsibilities

-Design, simulate and complete PCB design and routing of Power Supplies of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) according to specifications provided by systems engineer
-Follow the defined electronic hardware design processes and document design according to hardware design plan.
-Take part in peer reviews of LRUs
-Collaborate with software, mechanical, DSP, RF and aeronautical teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware LRUs
-Test and validate power supplies designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations (DO-160, MIL-STD-704)

Candidate requirements

B. Eng Electric or Electronic, M. Eng Electric or Electronic or similar
Schematic design, PCB design, simulation of circuits, analysis of circuits.
