Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness
- Verify and document all materials received against purchase orders and packing slips
- Identify and report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate department
- Maintain accurate records of incoming shipments and update inventory systems accordingly
- Coordinate with vendors and carriers to schedule deliveries and resolve any issues
- Assist with organizing and storing received materials in designated locations
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to resolve any discrepancies or delays in shipments
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven experience working in a warehouse, logistics, or receiving role
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus
