Job Summary

Group Consolidation & Reporting: Lead the preparation of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and consistency across all group entities. IFRS Compliance: Ensure financial reporting aligns with current IFRS standards. Implement changes as required and support policy development across the group. Hyperion Financial Management (HFM): Manage the HFM platform for group reporting. Oversee data integration and ensure accurate consolidation processes. Financial Reporting: Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual group reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for internal and external stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with senior leadership, finance teams, and auditors, providing insights and analysis to support strategic decisions. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial reporting processes, improving efficiency and data quality. Internal Controls & Risk Management: Uphold strong financial controls and governance across the group, ensuring accuracy and mitigating reporting risks. Mergers, Acquisitions & Investments: Support financial due diligence and integration of new acquisitions into group reporting structures. Financial Data Integrity: Maintain high data quality across reporting systems and work with teams to resolve discrepancies and enhance reporting accuracy. Skills & Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management and group reporting, with strong exposure to IFRS and complex group consolidations. Proven hands-on experience in group consolidation and reporting within multi-entity structures. Demonstrated expertise in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and other consolidation/reporting systems. Strong understanding of international accounting standards and tax regulations. Proficiency in Advanced Excel and financial data analysis. Solid working knowledge of accounting software such as Pastel and other relevant ERP platforms. Analytical & Communication Skills Ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and deliver meaningful insights to senior stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial audiences. Personal Attributes Strong problem-solving capabilities and sound analytical thinking. Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to quality. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a cross-functional team. Group Consolidation & Reporting Drive the full consolidation of multiple entities into a unified, insightful group picture. Deliver precise, timely financial statements that meet the highest compliance standards. IFRS Mastery Be our in-house IFRS expert. Stay current on evolving standards and ensure compliance across the group. Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Take ownership of the HFM platform. Optimize performance, ensure data integrity, and enhance the reporting experience across all business units. Financial Storytelling Translate data into strategic insight. Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual group reports that not only inform but enable confident decision-making. Strategic Stakeholder Engagement Partner with executive leadership, cross-border finance teams, and auditors. Bring clarity and confidence to complex financial discussions. Process Optimization Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and embed automation. Drive efficiency and scalability across the reporting function. Governance & Risk Management Ensure robust financial controls and governance frameworks are maintained. Safeguard accuracy and transparency in all reporting activities. Mergers & Acquisitions Integration Support the seamless financial integration of acquisitions. Align new entities with group reporting structures quickly and effectively. Data Integrity Stewardship Champion high-quality, consistent data across systems. Detect discrepancies, resolve anomalies, and ensure continuous improvement. What You Bring Minimum of 5 years experience in financial management and group reporting, ideally within complex, multi-entity organizations. Deep understanding of IFRS and experience implementing changes across business units. Advanced expertise in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and other consolidation/reporting platforms. Proficiency in Excel and strong data analysis capabilities. Working knowledge of Pastel and experience with ERP systems. A track record of delivering accurate and insightful financial reports to executive stakeholders.
