Requirements: Liaise with the Stores Controller Cape Town to determine the spares requirements and minimise and coordinate joint shipments from suppliers. Optimise purchases from local suppliers. Place orders (local or international) for all spares required for service or maintenance. Prepare orders/indents for local and international spares and workshop consumables. Track shipping progress of orders as required. Responsible for goods being returned to suppliers with assistance from the Stores Controller. Ensure that the weekly cycle counts are done according to the movement report by the Storeman. Manage and control the stock-take process quarterly with the Stores Controller. Take physical stock in the warehouse. Communicate cycle counts on a regular basis to the Storeman Johannesburg. At least 5 years in a similar position, with experience in stores and warehousing. Prepare direct issue / receipt sheet for stock corrections and get approval from senior management. Create new spares part numbers for new spares. Prepare all documentation and parts to be returned to overseas suppliers, with assistance from the Store Controller. Follow up on return credit notes from suppliers. Prepare, process and send quotations and invoices to customers, as required. Ensure that all filing is completed as required (orders, return vouchers and supplier invoices). Invoice all spares orders, service & repair jobs. Scan all invoices for completed jobs, e-mail to customers and save on the Shared Drive with the POD.
