Role Objectives
Provide technical support and maintenance services to ensure the reliable operation of heavy vehicles, construction equipment, and related machinery used in the aggregates and logistics industry. Perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance in line with operational and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair faults on trucks, earthmoving equipment, and plant machinery
• Carry out scheduled servicing to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan
• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental standards
• Keep accurate maintenance records, including parts usage and service history
• Respond promptly to urgent breakdowns to maintain operational continuity
• Collaborate with workshop supervisors and operators to resolve technical challenges effectively

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a technician in transport, construction, or mining equipment environments
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service schematics
• Hands-on problem-solving ability with a proactive, safety-conscious approach
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
