<p>Company offering <strong>extraordinary expeditionary</strong> routes in <strong>northern Tanzania</strong>, connecting guests with unscripted adventures in the <strong>Serengeti</strong> is currently recruiting for a <strong>Marketing Manager.</strong></p><p>The scope of the required role encompasses the <strong>brand management</strong> to support the <strong>commercial business</strong> approach, which is inclusive of <strong>both conservation and tourism</strong>.</p><p>The position will report directly into the <strong>Marketing Director</strong>, and the chief responsibility will be to be the <strong>brand custodian, leading</strong> and <strong>championing </strong>all brand outputs, strategy and creative. </p><p>The role requires working with <strong>internal </strong>and<strong> external partners</strong> to <strong>co-create, implement</strong> and <strong>maintain</strong> effective <strong>Marketing </strong>and<strong> Marketing Communications</strong> strategies targeted towards both <strong>B2B </strong>and<strong> B2C stakeholders</strong>. </p><p><strong>Duties:</strong></p><p>Own and be responsible for the brand and the Foundation: performance, strategy, creative, outputs and reporting.</p><p>Ensuring quality and consistency of all outputs</p><p>Creating and managing a budget, in collaboration with the Marketing Director </p><p>Implementation of agreed upon and devised strategy on a twofold approach:</p><p>Conservation, community, ecological sustainability and upliftment </p><p>Commercial (for-profit) division that is inclusive of safari camps and lodges </p><p>Drive revenue generation for the brand, opening up new channels for growth </p><p>Providing linkage between Brand and Foundation with Foundation inspiring content for brand communications </p><p>Consolidating all marketing activities into a unified approach both B2B and B2C </p><p>Management of Sales & Marketing integrated system</p><p>Ensuring a consistent brand identity across all touch points </p><p>Drive brand and Foundation outputs with the internal team (Head of Content, Head of Digital) and agency partners</p><p>Creating briefs and briefing teams</p><p>Delivering on brand positioning</p><p>Delighting luxury high end consumers </p><p>Seeing projects from inception through to execution</p><p>Collaborate closely with the brand to deliver the Connected Adventure portfolio strategy </p><p>Driving database growth with consistent communication strategy </p><p>Identify trends and incorporate responses and action plans that will allow the brand to remain competitive and pioneering</p><p>Working with the Head of Digital to drive the application and implementation of traditional marketing elements</p><p>Digital marketing</p><p>Marketing contributions and management </p><p>Working with the marketing team for digital review of all electronic resources and platforms including Wetu, fact sheets, maps, infographics etc </p><p>Print media development and implementation and correction </p><p>Drive quality design</p><p><strong>Requirements: </strong></p><p>Grade 12</p><p>Degree/Diploma in Marketing and/or Marketing Communications and/or Brand Management Experience in Luxury Hospitality </p><p>Experience in Conservation (advantageous) </p><p>Passion for philanthropy</p><p>Minimum 10 years working experience </p><p>Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing</p><p>Experience in digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing</p><p>Ability to be strategic and have creative judgement</p><p>Ability to derive analytical insights and actions from marketing metrics </p><p>Strong project management skills</p><p>An advanced level of computer literacy with special focus on use of marketing systems, as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook </p><p>Informed decision-making ability imperative</p><p>Ownership and responsibility to drive all brand and Foundation related matters </p><p>An excellent knowledge and understanding of the luxury sector and the calibre of clientele that are targeted </p><p>A sound ability to both strategize, and execution is key </p><p>Commercial focus to drive revenue generation </p><p>Have an in depth understanding of marketing, communications and brand strategy </p><p>Fully literate and numerate with the ability to perform relevant calculations, statistics, and be able to interpret basic accounts and financial statements and reports </p><p>Ability to focus and prioritize</p><p>Ability to effectively listen, collaborate, communicate and perform diplomatically with internal and external stakeholders, guests and staff in all
